    Acharya Devvrat said that he was deeply touched by the invitation and accepted the post with great humility. He said that he would be serving the institution and its students from the heart.     The Gujarat Vidyapeeth was founded in 1927 and it has been educating students since then. It has grown into a university with 17,000 students and 500 teachers and is the largest educational institution in India. Its campuses are located in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Surat. The institute has more than 15,000 students from 100 different countries studying in the following colleges: K.M.A. College of Commerce, S.G.P. College of Commerce, P.R.D. College of Commerce, Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, D.N.J. Institute of Technology, and Sardar Patel Institute of Science and Technology. Its main campus is located in Ahmedabad and its other campuses are located in Surat, Rajkot and Vadodara. This university has three main faculties namely science, arts and commerce. It has a total of nine colleges, which include B.N. College of Engineering and Technology, college of Architecture, Engineering and Science, college of Management Studies, college of Law, college of pharmacy, college of Commerce, college of Arts and Science, college of Computer Science and Information Technology. The Vidyapeeth has produced many leaders of India including Late Dr. Jawahar Lal Nehru, Former Prime Minister, Late Vallabhbhai Patel, Former Home Minister of India, Former Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Keshubhai Patel and Current President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind.

    What is the Mahatma Gandhi founded Gujarat Vidyapith?

    The Gujarat Vidyapith is located in the village of Wardha, District Latur in the State of Maharashtra in India. The school is named after Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, who was born on October 2, 1869. He was the third child of Daya Ram and Rajbai, and his full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He was educated at the London Missionary Society School, which was later to become the St. George’s College. The first-year curriculum consisted of English, Hindi, Sanskrit, and the study of Indian history, literature, and religion. At the age of 12, he wrote a paper in English to express his views on the education system in British India, “A plea for education through self-education.” He went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of London in 1891. This was followed by a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of London.

    Gandhiji started Gujarat Vidyapith to promote the ideals of non-violence, truth and compassion in society. His aim was to create a harmonious and just society. He wanted to create a harmonious society. The school is a great way of spreading his ideas among children, who will be the future generation. Gandhi was born in 1869 in the small village of Rajkot, Gujarat, India. His parents were Gujarati Hindus. He was born into poverty and lived through hard times. His father was a cotton merchant who made a fortune by trading in the English market. When Gandhi was twelve years old, he left his father’s home and joined his uncle’s business in Calcutta, which was much larger. After three years in Calcutta, Gandhi returned to Gujarat and helped his father in the family’s cotton trade.
